The Friendship Center is the lucky beneficiary of a variety of campaigns and special events happening this month!
Show your love for communities free from violence while also supporting some local businesses throughout the holiday season. Are you a Futura Lane customer with an appointment before the end of the month? Headed downtown to pick up a bespoke toy for a young (or young-at-heart!) person in your life ahead of the holidays? Love stopping in for a pint at Jesters on a Friday night? Maybe you have a high school senior and have been waiting to book a portrait session, or have an event early in the new year that you could use a photographer at. You can support The Friendship Center while you do any or all of those things this December!
We're humbled by the variety of businesses and clubs that keep us in mind each year as they organize fundraising campaigns and events during this season of giving. Providing critical services and resources for survivors as well as education geared toward preventing violence is a true community effort. We're honored to share four very different ways you can show your support for thriving communities this month while you're out and about.
ECV Four Georgians Fundraiser // Friday, December 20, 6 PM
Join the folks from ECV Four Georgians at The Jesters Bar Friday, December 20, starting at 6 PM for a night in support of The Friendship Center! The local E Clampus Vitus chapter will be collecting monetary donations (online, Venmo, or cash) as well as material donations for items from our current Needs & Wish List and special Holiday Wish List.
Help get the word out by sharing the Facebook event listing and inviting others to attend!
Capture Memories + Give Back // Through December
Now through the end of December, Shannon Conrad Photography is generously donating 50% of proceeds from every regularly priced photo session to The Friendship Center! Capture some precious memories or zhuzh up your personal or business branding while you show your love for communities free from violence when you book your session today.
Sessions booked in December do not have to take place in the same month. However, Shannon Conrad Photography asks that clients be prepared to schedule their session within six months of their booking date.
Futura Lane No Tip Program // Through December
Now through the end of December, Futura Lane customers are invited to make a gift to The Friendship Center in lieu of tipping their cosmetologist. Since opening their doors in 1984, Futura Lane has directed over $200,000 back to dozens of local causes through their signature no tipping policy. Your contributions truly add up!
Lasso the Moon Stuffie Drive // Through December
Now through the end of the year, visit Lasso the Moon to donate a new or gently used stuffie! All stuffies collected this holiday season will be distributed by The Friendship Center and the Lewis and Clark County Children’s Advocacy Center to give children recovering from abuse a sense of comfort with a familiar buddy by their side.
